Child and Youth Development Series
This comprehensive training series is designed to support Home Visitors, Family Resource Network Practitioners, and other professionals who work with families and children aged 0 to 18 years.

The series includes the following age-specific workshops:

  • The First Year (0–12 months)
  • Ages 1–3 
  • Ages 4-6
  • Ages 7-9
  • Ages 10-12
  • Ages 12-14
  • Ages 16-18

Workshop Overview:

This second session of the Child and Youth Development Series is ideal for professionals supporting families with children aged 1 to 3 years. This foundational workshop is perfect for those new to the field of child development and also for those practitioners seeking a practical refresher.

Participant will:

  • Explore topics such as tantrums, cause and effect, safety, and pretend play
  • Discuss age-specific and domain-specific development
  • Help caregivers connect their actions to their child’s ongoing development
  • Address common questions caregivers may ask about their child’s development

Prerequisite:

  • There is no prerequisite for the training. You can chose any age group session you are interested in.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration costs are non-refundable.

We encourage you to send a substitute if you are unable to attend the workshop, as there is a NO SHOW charge for all absent registrants. Cancellations need to be made ONE WEEK prior to the scheduled workshop date.

Should a workshop not reach its minimum registration requirement, it will be canceled approximately ONE WEEK prior to the workshop commencement date. Registrants will be informed by email or telephone, and registration costs will be refunded.
