Child and Youth Development Series
This comprehensive training series is designed to support Home Visitors, Family Resource Network Practitioners, and other professionals who work with families and children aged 0 to 18 years.

The series includes the following age-specific workshops:  

  • The First Year (0–12 months)
  • Ages 1–3
  • Ages 4–6
  • Ages 7–10
  • Ages 11-14
  • Ages 15–18

Workshop Overview: 

The Ages 11-14 

This session in the Child and Youth Development Series addresses the dynamic and often challenging stage of early adolescence. Aimed at professionals working with youth aged 11–14, it explores key themes such as emotional development, social identity, and shifting family dynamics. Participants will gain practical tools to support youth through this transitional period with confidence, empathy, and structure.

Prerequisite:

  • There is no prerequisite for the training. You can chose any age group session you are interested in.

  • For this interactive training, each attendee needs: a computer with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection.

  • Non Members: $50

Cancellation Policy:

Registration costs are non-refundable.

We encourage you to send a substitute if you are unable to attend the workshop, as there is a NO SHOW charge for all absent registrants. Cancellations need to be made ONE WEEK prior to the scheduled workshop date.

Should a workshop not reach its minimum registration requirement, it will be canceled approximately ONE WEEK prior to the workshop commencement date. Registrants will be informed by email or telephone, and registration costs will be refunded.
