Many women experience feelings of anger during the postpartum period, often surprising themselves with its intensity and frequency. This workshop focuses on the prevalence of postpartum anger, its connection to anxiety and depression, and its classification as a secondary emotional response. This session equips front-line practitioners with the knowledge and skills to normalize discussions around postpartum anger, fostering supportive environments for families experiencing these challenges.

Workshop Overview:

Identify signs and symptoms.
Explore contributing factors.
Introduce practical tools and strategies to support families.

Completion of the Perinatal Mental Health Workshop Part 1 & 2 is strongly recommended.
